FIND YOUR OPTIMAL FLOW

Do you want to make a change in your life, in your leadership style or are you facing a difficult decision? Then this “Optimal Flow” event might be right for you.

Forest bathing is becoming more popular in Denmark. Forest bathing stems from a more than 5,000-year-old practice from Japan, called Shinrin Yoku. However, it was not until the 1980s that the practice became seriously popular and the subject of research. To bathe in the forest means to "bathe" in the sensuous impression of the forest, for example to fully feel the wind, hear the sounds and smell the scents of the forest. According to the ancient tradition, the purpose is not only to achieve being present, experience peace and well-being, but also to find wisdom and answers to questions along with the forest.

Being in an optimal flow in Shinrin Yoku means “the moment when the energy of nature and the energy of the individual become intertwined, flowing as one. In other words, the individual becomes part of the forest rather than an external part. Flow provides space for flexibility, creativity, adaptation to circumstances and new insights ”.

In this workshop you will experience the following that can strengthen you as a leader:

  • By indulging in the rhythms and energies of nature, how your body and nervous system are calmed

  • How a calm and connected to “something bigger” state opens up for flexibility and creativity

  • How nature in a surprising way can give you wisdom and answers

  • Let nautre find guidfe you to an answer to a leadership challenge you’re faced with

KEY LEARNINGS:

Simple methods and practices to:

  • Get in balance with nature

  • Feel nature and your own energy

  • Find insights and wisdom-filled answers in nature

  • Create a mutual relationship with nature, so you can more easily find peace and insight into nature

  • The event takes place in Danish or English.

  • A min. of 6 participants is required and in case of heavy rain or storm the workshop will be moved to another day.

We all know how good being in nature can make us feel. We have known it for centuries. The sounds of the forest, the scent of the trees, the sunlight playing through the leaves, the fresh, clean air — these things give us a sense of comfort. They ease our stress and worry, help us to relax and to think more clearly. Being in nature can restore our mood, give us back our energy and vitality, refresh and rejuvenate us.

But what exactly is this feeling that is so hard to put into words? In Japan, we practice something called forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku. Shinrin in Japanese means “forest,” and yoku means “bath.” So shinrin-yoku means bathing in the forest atmosphere, or taking in the forest through our senses.

Skovbadning er under udbredelse i Danmark. Skovbadning stammer fra en mere en 5.000 år gammel praksis fra Japan, kaldet Shinrin Yoku. Det er dog først i 1980’erne, at praksissen for alvor blev populær og genstand for forskning. At skovbade betyder at “bade” sig i skovens sanselige indtryk for eksempel at fuldt ud mærke vinden, skovens lyde og dufte. 

I følge den ældgamle tradition er formålet ikke blot at opnå at være tilstede, opleve ro og velvære, men også at finde visdom og svar på spørgsmål sammen med skoven. 

At være i optimalt flow i Shinrin Yoku betyder “det øjeblik, hvor naturens energi og individets energi bliver til sammenflettet, flydende som én. Individet bliver med andre ord en del af skoven snarere end en ekstern del. Flow giver plads til fleksibilitet, kreativitet, tilpasning til omstændighederne og nye indsigter”

På denne workshop vil du opleve følgende:

  • Ved at hengive os til naturens rytmer og energier, hvordan vores krop og nervesystem beroliges

  • Hvordan en rolig og forbundet til “noget større” tilstand åbner op for fleksibilitet og kreativitet

  • Hvordan naturen på en overraskende måde kan give os visdom og svar

PRAKTISK INFORMATION:

  • Workshoppen foregår på dansk eller engelsk.

  • Gennemførelse kræver min. 6 deltagere og i tilfælde af kraftig regn eller storm flyttes workshoppen til en anden dag.
